Management Experience Required - No
Minimum Education - Bachelor's Degree
Willingness to Travel – Occasionally
Responsibilities:
Bridge Lead Engineer with a solid background in design of highway bridges.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
• Preparing proposals, studies and report writing.
• Leading project teams and supervision of design engineers, technicians and construction inspectors.
• Analysis and design of highway bridges and other structures.
• Business development and client management.
• Project management and engineering review of design drawings.
• Tender document preparation, quantities and contract management.
Qualifications:
• Structural or Civil Engineering Degree.
• Registered Professional Engineer or eligible for registration with APEGGA.
• Successful candidates will have a minimum of 10-15 years of highway bridge experience.
• Experience with Canadian Highway Bridge Codes and AT (Alberta Transportation) standards.
• Good communication and writing skills.
