Job Location: Houston , TX Cash Compensation: Industry Type: Construction Recruiters Job Description: • Lead HSE team in corporate initiatives • Develop staffing needs and prepare G&A budget for team • Prioritize and coordinate for the development of compliance programs based on changes and/​or trends within the regulatory agencies • Coordinate for the development of “Sustainability Projects” designed to minimize the company’s impact on the environment • Collaborate with the HSE Operations Group for HSE Process design and training • Provide strategic planning guidance for long term projects and compliance programs • Lead company’s efforts in key environmental and safety initiatives from a corporate level • Generate, organize and compile various compliance reports and verify data for accuracy Job Requirements: • BS Degree in Environmental Engineering or equivalent • 10+​ Years HSE Experience • Managed and/​or supervised members of a functioning HSE Department • Strong understanding of federal environmental regulations and OSHA requirements.​ Knowledge of state specific requirements (Texas, Oklahoma, Arkansas, Louisiana, Pennsylvania & Mississippi) a plus • Oil and gas experience related to E&P, drilling, mid-stream and sand mine operations a plus • Strong HSE experience with regard to each facet of the “H”, “S” & “E” function • Strong communicator—both written and verbal • Able to work as a team with the Director of HSE Operations and HSE Staff Preferred: • Strong working knowledge of Clean Air Act, Title V Permitting and Greenhouse Gas (GHG) reporting • Provide technical assistance to the HSE Operations Staff with regard to GHG reporting and compliance obligations associated with air permitting • Be able to facilitate “Air” projects and/​or compliance issues across multi—departments and/​or Business Units Company Description: Welcome to Kane and Associates!
