Dow Corning currently seeks a Global Strategic Marketing - Green Build candidate for a position at our Midland, Michigan facility.

Job Skills/Requirements
The strategic marketing position develops business strategy based on a clear market understanding of new fields of opportunity within the Construction Industry and adjacent Industry groups impacting Construction. Green Building and Energy Efficiency are two of the most significant trends/needs impacting the Construction Industry and they are expected to impact our strategies and business models in the coming years. Although these trends are understood today, there is a need for a strategic marketing/business development representative to identify and implement the appropriate business model and coherent marketing strategy changes required to position new innovations and to capture value from these trends. The candidate for this role will need to be an active member in several Green Building associations or cross Industry workgroups representing Dow Corning and developing superior understanding about Energy Efficiency and Green Building trends. They will lead the development of Marketing Communication content in alignment with our strategies. They will be responsible for External networking and supporting other team members in presenting a consistent message globally.
Required:
Must have a minimum of five years of experience in marketing, any experience in construction or architect field.

Must have strong external networking skills with construction industry preferred. Business judgment, shaping strategy, conceptual thinking, delivering value to customers. Delivering profitable customer value, teamwork, influence, team player, self management. Must have clear and concise written and verbal communications. Must have the ability to define strategy combined with a balanced focus on implementation. Must be creative, open-minded, disruptive and decisive. Technical aptitude for construction industry applications and specifications. Understanding cultural needs and diversity across global opportunities.
