Director of Planning and Design   Employer: College of Southern Nevada Job Location: Las Vegas , NV Cash Compensation: Industry Type: Building Owners Job Description: This position oversees the management of planning and design for facilities at CSN. Duties performed are for in-house projects, projects performed by licensed A/E's and projects administered by the SPWB including coordinating and overseeing the programming, design, and construction document project phases, coordinating plan review, updating and maintaining the campus design standards for new construction and remodel projects, and participating in short and long term master planning efforts for the College. This position also oversees the furniture and sign shops. Required Qualifications Must have a Master's degree from a regionally accredited College or Univiersity or a 5 year Bachelor's degree in Architecture from a regionally accredited College or University and 4 - 5 years of relevant work experience in architecture which includes 2 -3 years of relevant managerial/supervisory work experience. Must have Nevada architectural registration within 6 months of hire date.
