Marketing Manager   Employer: Nossaman LLP Job Location: Irvine , CA Cash Compensation: Industry Type: Related Professions Job Description: Nossaman is looking for a dynamic and dedicated Marketing Manager for its Orange County office to play an integral role in the firm’s regional business development efforts. The Manager will partner with attorneys in the Land Use & Natural Resources, Real Estate, Eminent Domain, and Employment Practice Groups to develop and execute targeted marketing, business development, and client retention and growth initiatives. He/she will report to the firm’s Director of Marketing. RESPONSIBILITIES * Lead the new business proposal process, including drafting, managing, and completing responses to Request for Proposals (RFPs), and preparing teams for interviews. * Develop and implement business development plans, programs, and budgets in coordination with the firm’s overall marketing strategy. * Conduct and manage research of prospective targets, industries, markets, and competitors using firm wide resources. * Develop and maintain in-depth knowledge of attorney expertise, client base, experience, regional industry and trade groups, and local media. * Conduct client service interviews. * Create and maintain marketing collateral materials, including website content. * Manage and attend conferences, seminars, and other networking events. * Work with the firm’s internal public relations professionals to ensure that significant matters are publicized internally and externally. QUALIFICATIONS The successful candidate will have 5+ years of legal or professional services marketing experience, including significant proposal management experience. This candidate will also have in-depth knowledge of the Orange County community; knowledge of core marketing principals; excellent leadership skills; well developed and professional interpersonal skills; a great attitude; and a passion for his/her work. The ability to work autonomously is required, as are excellent written and oral communication skills. The candidate must be client service oriented and possess the maturity to handle confidential and sensitive information with discretion, perceive, analyze, and resolve problems, and make or recommend sound decisions that support the firm’s marketing and business development strategy. The ability to work under pressure, multitask, and handle a heavy workload is essential. A Bachelor's degree in marketing or a related field is required, with a Master’s degree viewed as a plus.
