Job Location: Kent , WA Cash Compensation: Industry Type: Building Products - Equipment Job Description: Job Summary: Full time position for a Chief Mechanical Plumbing & Piping Estimator capable of producing detailed take-offs and creating final recap sheets. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: -Capable of generating plumbing and piping take-offs using computerized estimating programs such a QuickPen, Quote Express, Estimation or similar programs. -Adequate computer skills to work with Microsoft Word, Email and various computer applications. -Proficient in Microsoft Excel. -Strong understanding of public works types projects including county, state, city, colleges, schools, hospital, military and other industrial projects. -Good understanding of contract documents and specifications. -Capable of utilizing information generated by other estimators to create full mechanical proposals. -Willingness to be a team oriented player. Qualifications: -Chief Plumbing & Piping Estimator must have a minimum of 10 years experience as an estimator. -Must have a good understanding of HVAC sheet metal systems and components.
