Duties:
The successful candidate will manage remediation projects; maintain existing groundwater treatment systems; produce monthly, quarterly and annual reports submitted to regulators and clients; maintain excellent relations with clients; take the lead in obtaining new projects and work from new clients, as well as existing clients. He or she will provide high levels of professional expertise for the improvement of existing remediation strategies, systems, and component designs. He or she will design and execute sound remediation strategies and systems for groundwater, soils, and vapor intrusion. He or she will provide innovative remediation ideas, leadership for remediation projects, and adaptability in solving unexpected problems.
Qualifications:
* 5 - 10 years of relevant environmental experience.
* Minimum of BS degree in engineering; MS preferred, PhD a plus.
* Experience with CERCLA and RCRA and other federal environmental regulations; California regulatory experience a plus.
* Professional Engineer registration or ability to obtain PE registration.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills are a must, as well as a working knowledge of MS Office applications. As occasional travel to offsite locations for field observations and technical meetings is expected, a valid California driver's license, vehicle insurance and an insurable driving record are also required.
