Overview:
Key member of global financial planning & analysis team, responsible for monthly and quarterly reporting to executive leadership and Board of Directors. This reporting will facilitate decision-making and will include analysis on current performance and forward-looking indicators. This role will align closely to operations finance, Controller, Strategic planning and Treasury teams. Must have strong systems skills and very developed people skills as this is a visible role. Will serve as manager to at least one staff member.
Responsibilities include:
- Enhance management reporting package with emphasis on variance and business driver analyses
- Develop consistent global “best practices†forecasting process
- Consolidate and analyze forecasts and budgets for executive management
- Manages annual budgeting process – capital, financial and cash
- Manage financial long-range planning process
- Assist with forecast / budget tool selection
- Manage and develop FPA and other finance staff
- Tie together the overall finance reporting: actual, forecast, budget, cash
- Responsible for competitive analysis and benchmarking, working with Strategic Planning team
- Perform ad hoc analysis and projects
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance
- MBA or equivalent experience
- Publicly-traded company experience required
- 10+ years of relevant experience, emphasizing business analysis
- CPA a plus
- Strong managerial skills
- Investor Relations experience
- Excellent systems skills (E1 (JDE), Showcase, MS applications) and modeling abilities
- Exemplary analytical skills
- Self-starter, positive and collaborative team player
- Excellent communication skills – both written and verbal
- Leadership skills - must possess the ability to stay cool under pressure, look beyond the data for insights and anticipate impact of events, articulate a course of action in a way that influences others to embrace even unpopular decisions, act as an effective corporate steward and able to reach and express an independent point of view effectively
