Chief Engineer   Employer: Waterton Residential Job Location: Chicago , IL Cash Compensation: Industry Type: Real Estate Developers Job Description: One East Delaware, a premiere Chicago apartment community is seeking a skilled Chief Engineer to join our team! The Chief Engineer is responsible for overseeing the physical assets, general maintenance repairs, apartment make-readies, and preventative maintenance and construction or renovation projects for the apartment community. This position is also responsible for maintaining adequate inventory of supplies for repairs and monthly maintenance budget monitoring. Previous multi-family supervisory experience is required. Must be able to troubleshoot and repair HVAC equipment, plumbing systems, electronic systems, all major appliances, pool and spa equipment and other systems within the community. High School Diploma or equivalent required; college or trade school preferred. EPA Certification Type I and II or Universal. Certified Pool Operators License and Certifications in boilers and plumbing preferred. Outstanding benefits include health, dental, vision and 401K.
