This position requires balancing staff needs and managing people with operational requirements and business decisions. Successful candidate will have a professional demeanor, be an efficient time manager, and have good organizational and interpersonal skills.

The group leader is responsible for the P&L of the group, including all financial metrics, staffing decisions, strategic planning, and daily operations.
Job Description : The Natural Resources/Planning Manager is responsible for day to day operations of the group, as well as assisting in the leadership of the Environmental Services Division. As with any leadership/operations position, daily activities range from routine administrative paperwork to larger tasks such as setting the vision for the group. Routine activities include:
• Review and/or approve go/no-go pursuit decisions, project set-ups, interoffice agreements, training requests, expense reports, and timecards
• Conduct monthly department meetings, regular team leader meetings, and annual reviews
• Monitor financial metrics and attend monthly operations meetings
• Prepare labor projections, and annual salary performance reviews and adjustment recommendations
• Mentor staff, make hiring and other staff decisions
