The Rockwell Collins Environmental Effects Engineering lab performs environmental testing and qualification of Rockwell Collins products. This position is for an Electromagnetic Interference / Compatibility (EMI / EMC) Test Engineer to support qualification test activities. Job duties will include developing, documenting, and maintaining EMI test methods to support testing to RTCA DO-160 and MIL-STD 461 test specification requirements. Additional duties may include test procedure and report preparation. The ideal candidate will have: · Significant experience with Environmental Qualification testing, especially in the area of EMI testing. Experience with climatics and dynamics testing would be a plus. · Experience with test equipment operation including oscilloscopes, spectrum analyzers, power meters, signal generators, and programmable power supplies · RF circuit, electromagnetic field and wave, and system / design experience · EMC design support experience This person must be self motivated, organized, and disciplined. Must be able to operate in a dynamic environment and be capable of achieving results while managing multiple objectives. Must have strong communication and leadership skills in order to work with multiple teams to achieve results. Applicant must be capable of obtaining a US Department of Defense (DoD) security clearance. US Citizenship or green card is required. Qualifications Bachelor's Degree in applicable engineering or science field, and six years of related experience, or, in the absence of a bachelor's degree, twelve years of related experience.
