Job Description: Thermal & Mechanical Equipment Co.​ (TMEC), located in Houston, Texas, is a leading manufacturer’s representative agency specializing in the sale of heat transfer, filtration, and process equipment.​ We represent world class manufacturers of such equipment to Fortune 500 companies in the chemical, refining, gas transmission, power, and original equipment industries in the states of Texas, Oklahoma, and Louisiana.​



TMEC is seeking a candidate to fill a position on our Outside Sales Team.​ We are experiencing significant growth in our component sales and expect to achieve the same as we move into complete process systems.​ The account base available offers excellent earnings potential, along with a full range of benefits.​



Daily responsibilities and activities include:



* Sales calls to industrial customers, such as refineries, chemical and petrochemical plants, original equipment manufacturers, engineering and construction companies; and general manufacturing facilities.​
* You will use your technical and personal skills to assist our customers, many of whom are engineers, in making appropriate equipment selections.​
* Participate directly in the direction and success of our business.​



Minimum Qualifications Include:



* Bachelors Degree in Engineering
* Minimum five (5) years experience in engineering design with a sales aptitude or technical sales experience.​
* Outgoing and aggressive personality, ambitious, self motivated, and success driven
* Solid verbal and written communication skills are an absolute necessity
