Director of Business Development   Employer: Pepper Construction Co Job Location: Indianapolis , IN Cash Compensation: Industry Type: General Contractors - Managers Job Description: RESPONSIBILITIES: * Ensures that the company is presented with optimum business opportunities to realize profit objective through new business, existing clients or diversification * Responsible for research, analysis and presentation of business opportunities for future direction and growth * Develops and implements planning and strategy for new business development through direct contacts, public relations and advertising * Develops annual marketing plan for the office and market sectors to support the overall revenue goal * Participates in and takes a leadership role with appropriate organizations, meetings and events to expand and build networks and alliances * Works closely with the Marketing Team and Group Leaders during preparation of qualifications, proposals and presentations, providing key client insight and strategy and ensuring a high quality, complete product * Ensures collaboration with Business Development Teams from other subsidiaries when appropriate * Plans and administers all public relations efforts and activities, paid advertising activity and trade show participation * Budgets for and administers costs for marketing efforts, public relations, business development personnel, and marketing support staff * Assists in monitoring customer satisfaction with company services and personnel Requirements * BS in Construction Engineering/Management, Business or other related field.
