Job Description: Overview:

Our clinet is looking to hire a CFO. They are one of the largest comerical builders in the country.


Responsibilities:



* Supervise Project Accountant, Accounts Payable & Receivable, Receptionist & IT Manager.
* Manage the accounting process; produce all financial statements and documentation.
* Implement and monitor compliance with all accounting policies and procedures.
* Responsibility for all federal, state and local tax compliance and reporting.
* Responsibility for audit preparation.
* Responsibility for Daily Cash Management, Disbursements & General Ledger.
* Primary interface with operation for monthly job reviews.
* Coordination of weekly cash flow projections.
* Interface with Bank and Bonding Companies.
* Coordination of benefits with Staffco (P.E.O.).
* Present benefits overview to new employees.
* Assist Accounting Analyst as needed during peak work periods.
* Assist in preparation of yearly business plans.
* Assist estimating with labor rate data.
* Interface with Sales; Estimating for Bonding and Insurance Requirements.
* Responsible for company insurance programs.
* Interface with President on legal matters.



Qualifications:



* Minimum of 15 years of accounting experience in construction.
Steel erection / fabrication preferred.
* Excellent spreadsheet capabilities.
* Strong communication skills.
* Strong organizational skills.
* Be able to handle multiple tasks concurrently.
* Knowledge of management information systems.

(Timberline preferred)

* Prior Treasurer/CFO experience preferred.



In addition to the above qualifications the qualified candidate must meet the following criteria:

1. Have strong and direct knowledge of job cost from a contractor.
2. Posses direct labor trade organization background.
3. Come from a firm signatory to a organized labor agreement (Preference).
4. Have multii-state experience.
5. Have a solid record in positive dealing with banks and surety firms.
6. Have the type of personality that is well suit4ed to the principal he will report to.


Education Requirements:

* CPA (Preferred but not required)
