Job Description
HNTB Federal is looking for a Construction Services Program Director to be responsible for direction and supervision of a large professional or technical group. Program revenue usually is in excess of $3 million per year.
The Program Director will be responsible for:
* Providing a vision and direction for the planning, organizing, developing, and maintenance of the construction services program within HNTB Federal. Responsible for developing strategic and business plans to facilitate growth of the program.
* Providing guidance and coordination with all HNTB Federal construction local leaders/department managers within HTNB Federal construction locations.
* Coordinating and establishing strong relationships with the other program, service line and practice area leaders in HNTB Federal, including civil, structural, water resources, geotechnical, technology, and planning.
* Assisting construction local leaders in establishing project priorities, staffing schedules, and staff assignments to ensure clients are provided the best resources to meet their needs.
* Overall practice building for the entire program and assisting construction local leaders in recruiting and hiring key employees. This includes understanding HNTB’s vision and understanding office and company business plans.
* Marketing construction services in HNTB Federal. This includes focusing and meeting regularly with both internal and key external clients, keeping abreast of state and federal initiatives, building client relationships, identifying and pursuing projects early, developing win plans, tracking pursuits using SSA and responding to projects and clients.
* Coordinating with other program leaders for federal pursuits.
* Becoming an active member in key construction management organizations and establishing above the line relationships.
* Managing change between HNTB Federal construction locations.
Qualifications
We are looking for someone with a minimum of 15 years of experience that includes strong experience with the US Army Corps of Engineers either as an employee, contractor or consultant.
