You will be required to define project strategies and to provide senior management guidance for major onshore and offshore projects. The correct candidate will need to manage all aspects of construction for large complex projects. You will need to provide a clear direction, customer satisfaction and leadership while maintaining the cost and profitability. Safety, quality and accurately following company policies and practices are paramount. You will be responsible for the day to day operations at the construction site and you will operate at as the company's chief site representative to the customer, local labour, subcontractors and vendors. Duties and Responsibilities Provide detailed knowledge of construction capabilities within North and South America to enable successful selection of contractors in the local area. You will also be required to select the sub contractors, manage the fabrication and construction activities and ensure that project fabrication and construction schedules are met. It is essential that you feel comfortable leading construction reviews, evaluating risks to construction, and protect contractual interests during construction execution. This is a significant management position working with one of the world�s premier oil and gas consultancies. It is therefore essential that you have the following skills and experience to be suitable for the role: Education and Experience Formal project management training 15 years minimum experience working in the oil and gas industry Strong civil/infrastructure focused background working on projects in North and South America Project costing and scheduling experience will be beneficial Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management is preferred.
