Job Description: Minimum Requirements : Basic Qualifications:
• Bachelor's Degree and minimum ten years environmental related experience.
OR
• Associate's Degree and minimum fourteen years environmental related experience.
OR
• High school or equivalent education and minimum eighteen years environmental related experience.

Minimum Qualifications:
• Bachelor's Degree in Environmental Science or demonstrated equivalent
• Minimum years experience to include five years supervisory experience and three years experience in environmental management activities (permitting, compliance, waste management, etc.) at a permitted Treatment, Storage & Disposal Facility (TSDF) or production facility operating under the requirements of the Resource Conservation and Recovery Act (RCRA).
• Working knowledge of RCRA.
• Good writing skills and computer literate with working knowledge of common word processing, database and spreadsheet applications.
• Must have ability to make presentations clearly and concisely in oral and written reports.
• Must be a U.S. or Naturalized citizen.

Desired Qualifications:
• Professional certification as Certified Industrial Hygienist (CIH), Certified Safety Professional (CSP), Certified Hazardous Materials Manager (CHMM), Professional Engineer (PE) or Certified Health Physicist (CHP) should be pursued or completed.
• Five years experience in supervision of professional and technical personnel.
• Two years experience working with state and/or Federal regulatory agencies on environmental compliance activities.
• Familiarity with the Clean Water Act and the Clean Air Act.
Experience in a toxic or hazardous materials environment.
Job Description : Pine Bluff Chemical Disposal Facility is currently seeking a Deputy Environmental Manager for our Environmental Department who will be responsible for developing, coordinating, supervising and implementing programs for maintaining environmental compliance or obtaining/maintaining environmental permits. The successful candidate will prepare reports, position papers, and regulatory analysis for submittal to client and/or regulatory officials. He/she will also perform as Department Manager when delegated.

Must be a U.S. or Naturalized citizen. This position is designated as an Unescorted Access
Position. As a condition of employment, candidates and incumbents must favorably
complete a personnel security investigation, urinalysis testing, respiratory screening, and
must meet and maintain personnel reliability requirements established by Army
Regulations. Will rarely be required to wear a Chemical Protective Mask and will be
required to work in close proximity to and or in a chemical demilitarization facility. May
be required to work overtime or varying hours.
