(GES) Job Location: Neptune , NJ Cash Compensation: Industry Type: Engineers Job Description: Our Neptune, NJ office seeks a senior level Engineer with an environmental consulting background. Duties and Responsibilities include: * Serves as the senior remediation and technical leader for remediation projects of moderate to complex scopes and provides direction on remedial feasibility testing, scope development, implementation, and evaluation * Handles challenging remediation projects, including chemical oxidation projects * Works closely with field services departments * Provides review and approval to designs, reports, permits, specifications, work scopes and cost estimates * Performs remedial system pilot testing and prepares system design and specification * Participates in operation and maintenance of remedial systems, including system evaluations and upgrades, more advanced troubleshooting and ensuring permit compliance * Manages, trains and mentors staff regarding remediation and engineering activities and standards * Ensures all projects are adhering to GES Health & Safety standards * Assists with business development Job Requirements * A Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Chemical, Environmental, Mechanical or Civil) * 5+ years of environmental engineering/consulting experience is required * Must have excellent communication, analytical, and project management skills * Professional Engineer certification (New Jersey) is preferred * A Background Check and an Alcohol/Drug Screening are required Company Description: GES specializes in soil and groundwater assessment and remediation and employs some 600 professionals in 35 offices througthout the United States.
