Job Description: |
Successful and rapidly growing kitchen and bath design and sales company based in Little Falls, New Jersey is in need of a hardworking and dedicated director of sales & operations to oversee day-to-day business. Reporting directly to the CEO, responsibilities include:
* Management of a design team of 5+ sales personnel
* Ongoing sales training and mentoring to increase closing ratios
* Assertive oversight of outstanding “jobs”
* Assisting designers in following up and closing pending sales, including serving as senior “closer” when necessary.
* Continuous improvement of day-to-day operations to better meet client expectations.
* Solution-driven oversight of customer service department to ensure that issues are addressed immediately and client satisfaction is priority.
* Oversight of day-to-day showroom operations to ensure a pleasant experience for our clients
* Meticulous oversight of various reporting functions on a daily basis
* Assistance in developing new programs and reporting functions to accurately gauge business performance
* Participation in planning and execution of advertising and marketing programs
* Serve as company representative to new special program venues
* Other operational duties as requested or required for streamlined management of day-to-day business.
Qualifications Required:
The ideal candidate should be highly driven and experienced in sales management, with proven sales and closing skills. Must be able to motivate the design/sales team and oversee each and every potential sale to close. Must be computer savvy, with superior “people” skills, eagle-eyed attention to detail, organizational and multi-tasking skills and background are essential. This is a management position that will require hard work and commitment, but that will return financial and personal rewards for the right candidate.
