Job Description: The Senior Program Manager will manage all aspects of client relationships. Manage the development of the Program Workplan. Implements, monitors and updates Program Workplan. Implements and manages Program requirements and Master Schedule. Manages Program staff assignments, resources and procedures. Develops, assigns, and reviews Program procedures, policies, and guidelines. Responsible for initial coordination and development of Program Report formats. Implements, manages and monitors procedures for Program Systems, Schedules, Controls, and Budgets, Reports and Program Status. Responsible for Program level reports and updating monthly Program status.
Establish procedures to oversee planning, design and construction of all projects.
Meet with District management on a regular basis to coordinate new projects and those being performed by in-house work force.
Develop staffing plans and implement staffing requirements
Oversee scheduling, estimating and controls for program.
Day-to-day management of support staff
Candidates should have excellent leadership, communication and organizational skills.


Qualifications

Candidates must have 20 years experience in leading educational facilities construction programs of which 5 years should be california community college.
They can schedule and manage multiple projects, estimate tasks, organize a team and meet deadlines.

Familiar with all construction methods, techniques and meeting deadlines.
strong experience using project management, scheduling and all Microsoft software. Experience with Microsoft Office software and other relevant project management and scheduling software such as Prolog, Expedition, P6, Project, etc.
20 years of related project management experience,10 of which should have included public sector projects.
College degree in related field, such as Architecture, Engineering, or Construction Management
