Project Director   Employer: AECOM Job Location: San Antonio , TX Cash Compensation: Industry Type: Design Build Firms Job Description: We are seeking a talented individual to serve as a Project Director managing radiological field investigations and remediation projects. In this role, you will supervise field team members and ensure compliance with work plans and health and safety requirements. Additionally, you’ll facilitate and monitor project schedules and costs and approve subcontractor invoices. You will conduct site walks of prospective project sites, prepare cost and schedule estimates and develop the technical approaches. The successful candidate will implement and practice established heath and safety and industrial hygiene standards/guidelines and monitor activities consistent with those best in class guidelines. Qualifications: - BS in engineering, health physics, or related field desired. - 10+ years of experience with radiological investigation, decommissioning, and decontamination projects. - Experience developing project cost estimates and proposals. - Experience with Department of Energy, Department of Defense, or Corp of Engineers is highly desirable. - NRRPT or CHP certifications are desirable. - You must be willing to travel (upwards of 50% +) and support field projects as needed. - Strong verbal and written communication skills.
