Evaluate, select, and apply standard engineering techniques, procedures, and criteria, using judgment in making minor adaptations and modifications. Design, develop, and prepare specifications, report preparations, and other activities of limited scope requiring knowledge of principles and techniques commonly employed in the specific narrow area of assignments. Evaluate, select, and apply standard techniques, procedures, and criteria to perform a task or sequence of tasks for conventional projects with few complex features. Use judgment to determine adaptations in methods for non routine aspects of assignments. Assist with client, customer, or official contacts and communication pertaining to specific assignments or meetings. Handle independent assignments, which call for an application of specialized professional expertise. Ensure that production of specifications, reports, and analyses meet scope, schedule, cost and quality requirements.
Job Requirements
This position requires a Masters degree in Civil Engineering as well as 1 year experience in a related engineering position including experience carrying out subsurface investigations and preparing cost estimates. Must have experience with gINT, Microstation, AutoCAD, PCSTABL, and Flac2D. Must be authorized to work in the United States.
