The successful candidate will possess experience in the design and construction industry and be very knowledgeable of the Washington, DC design and construction marketplace. We are seeking a self-motivated individual, interested in personal growth, who wants to be a member of our growing team and who meets the following minimum qualifications:
Degree in Engineering from an accredited university
Professional registration is mandatory
LEED Accredited Professional designation a definite plus
15 years of experience in the design and construction industry
Highly organized and detail-oriented team player
Demonstrated ability to work independently with experience managing multiple programs at multiple locations
Experience and demonstrated success in business development and marketing is mandatory
Experience with local and federal government contracts, including proposal preparation and contract negotiations for contract awards, task-orders, change orders and invoices
Primary experience in large, mixed-use, institutional and educational projects for both private sector and government clients
Additional experience with transportation projects a definite plus
Experience with cost estimating, schedule development and monitoring and document control
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Excellent computer skills, including Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint
Strong interpersonal skills
Experience with financial tracking, subconsultant agreements and contract closeout
