The Director, Facility Operations will manage the plant and office operations for all Kinect locations. This position will be in the Naperville, IL office.
Responsibilities:
* Hires, trains, and manages the Facilities Department staff and organizes department activities and workflow to maximize their effective use.
* Contracts with outside vendors for landscaping, snow removal, electricity, waste management, document shredding, alarm security, janitorial service, HVAC repair, copy machines, postage machines, plant rental service and vending machines.
* Ensures all facility staff activities and operations are carried out in compliance with federal and state regulations and DeVry University policies and procedures.
* Develops and implements policies and procedures in order to improve department operations.
* Assesses and develops plans for building renovations, including space allocations and layout, selecting construction contractors, working with the architect, purchasing furniture and equipment and ensuring projects are completed on time and within budget.
* Develops and emergency response plan for the building, which includes but is not limited to, weather, weapons, fire, drugs, accidents, hazardous spills, etc.
* Completes other duties as assigned.

* Bachelors degree in Facilities Management, or equivalent
* 10 years of facilities/office management and supervisory experience required
* Project management experience
* Ability to read and interpret blueprints and engineering drawings
* Ability to work with financial spreadsheets
* PC skills in Word, Excel, Outlook and Internet applications
