Job Description:
The District Facilities Manager is responsible for the overall district operations of the
Quality Maintenance Organization which includes Quality Maintenance Team (QMT)
and Preventive Maintenance (PMT),
performs routine interior maintenance, routine exterior maintenance, scheduled repairs, same day response guidance.

Responsibilities/Skills/Experience Requirements Lead, coach and train a productive
team of Quality Maintenance Technicians
Management of vendor and
contractor relations.
Negotiation and successful
completion of contracts for vendor services
and facilities repairs.
Plan, budget and manage the
facilities expense accounts impacting
profitability.
Manage emergency response in
disaster, crisis and life safety situations.
Manage and review landlord and
SHC compliance to facility aspects of lease
agreements
Maintain accurate documentation on
facilities files, surveys, photos.
Maintain accuracy and integrity of
information in the facilities management
(SMART) system.
Coordinate scheduled visits to all
sites in area of responsibility.
Negotiate, sign and manage all
contracts under $40,000.
Identify and evaluate future Capital
Projects.
Maintain the highest level of interior
and exterior facilities maintenance
standards.
Facilitate open communication and
problem resolution for field facilities issues.
Management of onsite facilities
evaluations and oversight of major
maintenance issues.
Develop partnership with Store and
District Managers
Travel 3 4 days per week.

Requirements:

College degree preferred
Minimum 5 years experience in multi-unit Facilities Management.
Retail or commercial facilites experience
Strong aptitude in energy reduction skills and HVAC (heating ventilation air
conditioning) system & control.
Prior leadership experience managing a region/district
Experience managing remote team
Ability to travel 3-4 days per week.
Strong communication skills

Position will support the Baltimore, MD market. Local candidates preferred. Relocation
