TranSystems Corporation, the 15th largest transportation design firm and a leader in providing transportation solutions to public and private sector clients across the entire transportation spectrum, is currently seeking a Vice President for roadway and bridge engineering consulting and design work in our Phoenix, Arizona, transportation office. This key management position, reporting to the Regional Vice President, will be responsible for the overall leadership of the States and Municipalities market sector for the upper Southwest region, under guidance of the Regional Vice President/Market Sector Leader.
Responsibilities will include: business development activities in the transportation group within the Phoenix office, expanding the firm's role with existing clients, and developing new relationships with transportation-focused clients. Qualified candidates must have strong working relationship with the Arizona Department of Transportation districts and preferably with other regional municipalities.
The successful candidate will represent TranSystems with respect to a specific client assignment including go/no go decisions, contract negotiations, collections, proposal strategy, and all other matters involving the client relationship. He/she will have the opportunity to provide a huge impact on the firm as it grows from gross revenues of $210M in 2007 to $500M in 2012, and with 1,300 employees in 2007 to 3,000 employees in 2012. TranSystems offers a very attractive starting salary (depending on experience) with potential for bonus and future equity participation, as well as an excellent benefit package.
