Director of Construction Management   Employer: Hillsborough Area Regional Transit (HART) Job Location: Tampa , FL Cash Compensation: Industry Type: Building Owners Job Description: Description: Under the direction and coordination of the Chief of Maintenance/Engineering, this position manages field construction activities and contract administration for HART’s Maintenance and Engineering Division. Duties: Performs constructability reviews of design plans and provides feedback to designers as appropriate. • Provides the primary interface between contractors and HART. Acts as a resource to and liaison between the Maintenance Department and various departments within HART as well as with external contacts. • Reviews and approves contractors shop drawings, working drawings, materials and samples, as well as working practices and methods. • Directs and responsible for managing the project management staff. • Ensures contractor is in compliance with HART contract provisions including specifications and approved schedules. • Assures all design changes are incorporated in Company Description: The mission of the Hillsborough Area Regional Transit Authority (HART) is to provide public transportation services, which are safe, dependable, and cost effective thereby enhancing the quality of life in our community.
