Engineers at Tetra Tech EC gain exposure to diverse and exciting opportunities including international projects. We are looking for enthusiastic candidates to participate in planning, preparation, field execution, construction oversight, and management for projects involving multiple engineering disciplines. Candidates should be self-motivating and enjoy working in a dynamic environment providing engineering design and construction expertise for a broad array of projects. Responsibilities: Applicants are responsible for applying sound engineering principles and practices. Applicants must be able and willing to take on short and/or long term domestic and international assignments. A successful candidate will work closely with home office design engineers. Engineers will interact with all levels and disciplines of the organization, clients, vendors, and subcontractors. Additional job responsibilities include: Ensure technical accuracy, standard engineering practices, and inclusion of appropriate documentation on various reports and design projects. Be able to evaluate alternatives and resolve technical issues. Perform field engineering including interpretation of specifications and drawings, recommending and documenting design modifications, and coordinating with the design engineers. Make independent decisions to solve engineering problems, resolve questions, plan, coordinate, and execute work in a safe, timely, cost effective and compliant manner. Follow company procedures regarding construction, engineering design and design modifications. Follow company and client's policies regarding health and safety guidelines to ensure personal safety. Perform other related duties as assigned. Qualifications: 5-15 years of related experience. Field and construction experience is required. Bachelors Degree in Civil Engineering or construction management is required. A Masters Degree is a plus. Proficient written and verbal communications skills Ability to travel and work internationally.
