DUTIES Reporting to the Regional Property Manager, this position: * Coordinates and directs the design, planning, construction, maintenance, and alteration of equipment, machinery, buildings, and other facilities within a specific geographic area. * Negotiates regional acquisition contracts and vendor accounts, provides consultation services to all sites and ownership in areas of facilities management on a regional level, develops and analyzes feasibility studies and completes insurance claim assessments, negotiations and settlement. * Develops and monitors safety programs, assists property managers in hiring facility/maintenance staff positions, and develops training programs for maintenance, management and facility employees. * Supervises and monitors development and coordination of facilities staff. REQUIREMENTS This position requires a bachelor’s degree or equivalent; or 4-8 years of related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Significant travel is required in various time increments as construction and consultation is required in any geographic location.
