Job Description: The Business Director, Energy and Building & Construction will develop and implement strategy and have P&L responsibility for the business. He/she will be responsible for North and South America.

Responsibilities will include:

*Build and develop a high-energy, innovative team that sets the standard for performance and deliverables for the organization.
*Develop analytical mind-set and capabilities in his/her team to utilize financial portfolio analysis to guide decision-making, including: profitability analysis by product, customer, industry segment; manufacturing rationalization; product rationalization; pricing analysis by product, customer, industry; R&D product portfolio management; identifying new growth opportunities, etc.
*Restructure the business through the use of in-depth analysis of the business
*Realign asset base and assure physical assets are capable of delivering business needs while operating in a safe and environmentally conscientious way
*Identify growth opportunities for the business

EDUCATION
- Bachelor's degree is required, preferably in a technical discipline. An MBA is a plus.

EXPERIENCE
- Prior Experience managing a P&L
- Strong analytical as well as strategic capabilities
- Experience operating in a matrix environment
- Demonstrated ability to define and deliver value to the customer
- Strong marketing acumen
- Safety and Environmentally conscientious
