Terra Contracting, LLC was founded in 2001 to provide quality environmental remediation, solid waste and related environmental and construction contracting services to its customers. The company has a unique management philosophy; all decisions and actions are based upon six operating principles.

These principles are Integrity, Safety, Customer Focus, Intensity, Training and Teamwork. Terra believes that if we are sufficiently dedicated to these principles and apply them fully to each project, we can provide our clients with extraordinary levels of quality and value. It is our deep commitment to these principles that sets us apart from our competitors in the environmental remediation industry.

Terra also practices the Loss Prevention System (LPS) which is a behavior-based safety program that utilizes proven management techniques to reduce both work-related incidents as well as losses such as injury or equipment damage. Using LPS, Terra identifies and eliminates risks before incidents occur. LPS is the safety standard of many major corporations, and Terra is proud to be one of only a handful of remediation contractors who have implemented a company-wide LPS program; to have trained all of our employees in LPS; to have completed the stewardship requirements of LPS; and to have become a licensed-provider of the LPS system.

In 2007, Terra was selected as the prime subcontractor on the Kalamazoo River Superfund project in Michigan, and Terra provides remediation services nationwide with offices in Michigan and Georgia. Our customers include engineering and consulting firms, private industry, utilities and municipalities. For each we deliver the highest quality, most cost-effective environmental contracting services possible.

Terra has created a team mentality throughout its organization. Our teams are composed of exceptional personnel in every capacity. All project leaders are highly experienced and have worked in multiple industries on a wide range of jobs. Equipment operators are seasoned, experienced and highly trained. Training is one of our core principles. It is a never-ending process at Terra and ensures that our teams carry the most powerful of all tools: knowledge.

In addition, we have taken great pains to build a real-time communications network and a centralized database so that all teams are linked to each other and to our administrative offices. Information flows freely and changes in job parameters or developments in the field are immediately communicated.

Terra delivers exceptional services by ensuring that each component of the project is of the best possible quality while representing the most cost-effective approach. Great care and thought is given to deployment of equipment and the skill-level of people assigned to projects.
