The Company//s business is organized in two operating segments: Water Products and Electrical Products. The Water Products business manufactures and markets a line of residential gas and electric water heaters, standard and specialty commercial water heating equipment, copper-tube boilers and water systems tanks. The Electrical Products business manufactures and markets a line of hermetic motors, fractional horsepower alternating current (AC) and direct current (DC) motors, and integral horsepower motors. During the year ended December 31, 2006, 58% of the Company?s net sales were attributable to its Water Products business and 42% attributable to its Electrical Products business. In April 2006, the Company acquired GSW Inc., a Canada-based manufacturer of water heaters and building products.
