What is a Regional Project Director Job Description?
The primary responsibility is the oversight of the development management and the construction management of hotel and restaurant projects. The development management includes the direct management of all consultants, the documentation process, vendors and the coordination of various departments including reporting of the development budgets and project schedules. The construction management responsibilities include assisting with General Contractor selection, the GMP process and Owner Contractor Agreement with direct oversight of the project from pre-construction, construction, turnover to operations and project closeout. In addition requires assisting Group Executive in support of acquisitions, due diligence, property evaluations, conceptual estimating and programming.
Experience Requirements
Must have at least 10 years construction or development experience including both hotel and restaurants projects.
Varied project experience in construction and/or development with onsite supervision responsibilities.
Oversight of multiple projects concurrently requiring regional travel
Have had primary responsibility for project budget reporting and timely delivery of project
Familiar with varied construction types including new construction, adaptive re-use and renovations.
Project scheduling and estimating
Skills
Handles multiple tasks under pressure.
Prioritizes responsibilities.
Demonstrates excellent verbal and written communication skills
Proficient in MS Word, Windows, Excel, MS Projects and Internet.
Qualities
Self motivated and task oriented with the ability to work independently under minimal supervision.
