Do you have tips on what NOT to do in an interview?

Never do the following: be late; forget to stand and offer a construction employer handshake when first introduced; dress inappropriately; construction interview without first researching the position and construction employer; meet without references or copies of your construction resume; appear stressed or desperate; fail to ask good questions; underestimate the power of the First Impression- first few moments of the construction interview; lie on the construction resume or job application; forget to shower, shave or check yourself over in the bathroom prior to your construction interview; appear disinterested in the position; brag or sound egotistical; forget the construction interviewer's name; fail to smile and be courteous; forget to listen carefully before answering any question; forget to send a Thank You note thanking them for their time and highlighting the reasons that make you the right fit for the position.
