Think in terms of how you are going to do the job rather than in terms of how you are going to get the job. Assume you are going to get the job, and your questions and answers will naturally become more proactive. The construction interviewers will begin to come over to your perspective, and you won't have to do anything except answer and ask questions from that positive perspective.
