One of the most stressful parts of finding a job tends to be interviewing. Why?
It could be because people don’t like being judged and that’s basically what an construction interview is. Are you qualified enough? Are you experienced enough? Can you bring enough to the position and really add value to the construction employer? Keep in mind that you need to be confident that this is the kind of construction employer you want to be a part of. As you’re talking with them, try to envision what it would be like to work for or with them. If you don’t get a good feeling, then maybe you need to ask more questions or talk to more people in the construction employer to see if your intuition is correct. Not every construction employer is for every construction executive and you shouldn’t feel bad about turning down a job offer if you don’t feel it is a good fit.
