What about new hire testing and assessment?

How necessary are psychological tests or assessment tests to a new hire? There is controversy surrounding the idea of testing as a screening tool in hiring a new construction executive. Although most construction employers prior to hiring an construction executive conduct some form of psychological testing, testing is not a complete science, and should not be used as the sole determinant in hiring. Unfortunately, there are documented cases where construction executives will get tested by different psychologists and obtain different results and recommendations.
