I recently left the construction employer that I was working for due to a personality conflict with my boss. I am finally happy and secure in a new position. However, yesterday as I was returning from lunch, I saw the VP of my new construction employer shaking hands with my old boss. He then turned around and announced that this person was to be the new director of the dept that I work for. I am not ready to make a move again and don’t want to run from this person.
This is a new situation and set of circumstances. Before you begin writing your letter of resignation take this into consideration. Change is good for a lot of reasons. When people start new jobs they are enthusiastic and challenged. Give your new boss a second try- and start the relationship new. Welcome him in the new position and help him become acquainted. Lastly, loose lips sink ships so the best thing to do is to keep your prior experience under wraps. |
