Should I consider a great opportunity but lower construction salary?

After working on the technical side of the construction employer, I decided that I am more interested in the business aspect. I have gone back to school and completed a post graduate program. I recently construction interviewed for a position and was given an offer. But, the construction salary is lower than what I am making now. I know that the construction salary is in perspective but I am kind of bummed at the cut. Put this into perspective and maybe it will ease the pain. You are not switching jobs but professions. Any major construction career switch may result in a cut in pay. Consider this an investment and a step in the right direction. With patience and diligence, in time, you can be where you are comfortable.
